Inspired Health is seeking a Ph.D.-level researcher to join our expanding specialist Healthcare Team – someone who is passionate about research and is committed to sharing their passion and expertise with our Team and our Clients.

Reporting to the Leadership Team, responsibilities will include:

• Moderating in-depth individual interviews and focus groups with a range of patients and healthcare professionals, incorporating a range of projective techniques

• Developing qualitative and quantitative market research designs that are completely customized to meet clients’ needs

• Developing and winning market research proposals; either independently or leading a collaborative team

• Leading internal teams to effectively execute all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, both domestic and international

• Overseeing and owning relationships with clients – working independently of Leadership Team when managing client relationships

• Mentoring junior staff to develop superior insight skills – giving constructive feedback to help the staff grow and improve.

Qualifications

The successful candidate is intellectually curious, proactive, flexible, passionate about research, and a strong communicator (both verbal and written). They thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

• Ph.D. required with a background in social sciences, life sciences, marketing, or public health preferred

• Experience interviewing Patients and Healthcare Professionals 1 on 1 or in focus groups (e.g., face-to-face or virtually)

• Experience executing and overseeing all aspects of custom qualitative research

• Experience executing and overseeing all aspects of custom quantitative research

• Ability to collaborate effectively to develop and deploy innovative approaches to market research

• Ability to lead a team in the development of compelling insight reports and presentations

• Ability to deliver strategic advice that goes beyond the data and prepares clients for the implications

• Ability to be seen as a trusted partner by clients

• Inspired Insight is in downtown Boston. Applicants must live in the Boston Metro area (or have an intention/plan to relocate). While we are currently practicing a hybrid working model, this role is not a remote opportunity.
